Pete grew up on Cape Cod and was raised in the local rinks, playing youth hockey for Cape Cod Canal, Hobomock Chiefs and Plymouth County All-Stars before playing for Sandwich High School, Williston Northampton Prep School and college at the University of Southern Maine. While he still enjoys putting on the pads and playing in local men’s leagues, Pete has developed a passion for coaching and developing players. Pete is a Level 4 USA Hockey Certified Coach with a Bronze Certification in Goaltending. His Coaching experience includes Goalie Coach at St. John Paul II (2020 – current), FYH Goalie Development Coordinator (2017 - current), FYH Goalie Coach (2017 – current) and FYH Coach at the U8 and U10 level for the past six years. Pete is excited to join the East Coast Thunder Hockey Club and bringing his hockey passion to the program.

2021-22 U10 Head Coach: Spencer Weeks

Growing up Spencer played for Coach Sherbertes and Coach Danby with the Jr. Hurricanes and spent my summers attending his Top Shelf programs. Spencer played 4 years at boarding school for New Hampton Prep and then at Suffolk University before graduating in 2019. He has been coaching hockey since 2015.

In the past caoch Weeks would help his former prep school coach put together showcase teams for spring and summer tournaments.

The teams I've coached ranged from u12 to u18.

On the side, I work for a pro hockey agency called    Gold Star Hockey. I do a variety of things for them which include scouting, hockey analytics, breaking down game film, and contract research.

I’m very excited to work with Coach Sherbertes and the rest of the East Coast Thunder staff.
